The father of a Government College University (GCU), Lahore 1st Year student, who committed suicide after failing in the Intermediate-I examinations, told the Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE), Lahore management on Saturday that canceling the result altogether could not bring his dead son back.
On Monday, Shahzad Ahmed, 18, a resident of Nawaz Sharif Park in Qila Lacchman Singh, had committed suicide after learning that he had failed in the examination. Shahzad’s father asked that now that the Punjab government had admitted its mistake and cancelled the result, could anyone provide him an alternative for his dead son.
The emotional father also protested against the BISE along with other students.
I appeal to the Khadim-e-Aala Punjab that the minimum he can do to stem the rot of BISE results fiasco is to dismiss the education minister, before people appeal to the Chief Justice Supreme Court to take suo moto action to fix the responsibility of the suicide of late Shahzed Ahmad. A young person has lost his life due to the bad governance and it is no joke, someone must intervene to bring the culprit to justice.
what we can say about this.. A boy lost his life just because of fail in paper.. education department and our society is responsible for his death
Iftikhar ch. will not take any suo -moto against his sharif brothers….government's act.
