Punjab Literacy Secretary and newly-appointed Lahore BISE Chairman Dr Allah Buksh has ordered Lahore Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) officials to give high priority to solving the problems of students, during a special meeting held on Wednesday. He announced that new counters, headed by senior employees, would be opened in order to simultaneously cater to a greater number of candidates. He ordered that students’ problems be resolved within 15 days, while also demanding daily reports on the issue. The BISE chairman also promised that the corruption mafia within its ranks would be eliminated.
