KARACHI – Bodies of three young girls were recovered from a water tank of a house in Orangi Town’s Merajun Nabi Colony. The three sisters were identified as 17-year-old Uzma, 11-year-old Nisha and eight-year-old Sumaira. Separately, three people were gunned down in Orangi Town No 10.
The deceased were shifted to the Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre. Following the incident, locals were confined to their homes and traffic remained suspended due to intense aerial firing. Law enforcers cordoned off the area and arrested seven suspects with weapons.
In another incident, a person was gunned down in SITE Area while resisting a robbery bid.
