Women’s cricket officials sacked

The Pakistan Cricket Board Women’s Wing sacked team coach Mansoor Rana on Thursday citing bad performance during the West Indies series and appointed Mohtashim Rasheed as the new coach. “The performance of Pakistan women’s team was not impressive due to which the PCB women’s wing has decided to sack Mansoor Rana and appoint new coach Mohtashim Rasheed,” an official said.
He said team manager Aisha Asher was also asked to quit and now Shahid Aslam will replace him. The source also informed that women’s cup would be held here at National Cricket Academy in the last week of October.
