Hearing of the National Insurance Company Limited (NICL) land scam against Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid (PML-Q) Member of the Provincial Assembly (MPA) Chaudhry Moonis Elahi was adjourned until October 15, as Lahore District and Sessions Judge Mujahid Mustaqeem was on leave. On Wednesday, newly-appointed prosecutors Chaudhry Aslam and Zia Islam of the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) had to argue on an application filed by Moonis seeking acquittal in the reference.
