Bank Alfalah joins hands with PCB

The Pakistan Cricket Board and Bank Alfalah have joined hands as presenting partners of the upcoming Pakistan and Sri Lanka series. After the Jazz Cup deal with Mobilink, the PCB found a helping hand in the Bank Alfalah and on Monday the head of the Islamic bank Ijaz Farooq and Amer Mirza, head of marketing announced their long standing partnership with the PCB and other sports.
Addressing a press conference, Amer Mirza expressed his hope of a good coverage to the series. “Whenever our bank sponsors any sports event media give proper coverage and this time Bank Alfalah is the presenting sponsor of the series. “Our relations with sports are not new. We are the caring bank and our brand promises likewise so we always try to give healthy activity and will always stay wicket cricket even in dark times.
He also urged the corporate sector to play its part in the field of sports as Bank Alfalah with its limited budget do its best to sponsor sports events. Ijaz Farooq said: “Bank Alfalah was established in 1997 and in all these past 13 years it has remained attached with Pakistan cricket and other sports like polo, golf, hockey.” He also hoped cricket will return to Pakistan.
