PML-Q leaders from Dadu join PPP

Prominent leaders of the Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid (PML-Q) from Dadu joined Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) on Saturday.
During a meeting with Sindh Chief Minister (CM) Syed Qaim Ali Shah at the CM House, PML-Q Dadu President Sardar Ejaz Rasool, former Mehar nazim Abdul Waheed Kalhoro, former taluka naib nazim Shahid Hussain Sahwal and many other party activists signed the PPP membership forms.
Speaking on the occasion, the CM welcomed the PML-Q leaders of Dadu to the PPP and expressed confidence that they would serve the masses with more conviction and commitment.
He said the PPP is the only party that has strong roots among the masses and enjoys massive public support under the able leadership of President Asif Ali Zardari.
The PML-Q leaders expressed full confidence in Zardari, saying the PPP is a democratic party in the truest sense and its contribution to the promotion of democracy holds precedence over everyone else.
PPP Dadu President Rafique Ahmed Jamali said Dadu is a stronghold of the party and inclusion of senior PML-Q leaders of the district in the PPP would further strengthen the party.
Sindh Law Minister Ayaz Soomro, Minority Affairs Minister Mohan Lal, Member Provincial Assembly Kulsoom Chandio and Fayyaz Butt were also present on the occasion.
