Two Pakistani golfers Matloob Ahmed (Gymkhana) and Shahid Javed Khan (Royal Palm) are amongst the front runners at the end of the second round of the MENA Golf Tours, Ras Al Khamah Golf Classic. Matloob Ahmed is placed third after rounds of 72 and 67 while Shahid Javed is lying in fifth position with a first round score of 70 and second round score of 73. Jake Sheperd and Peter Richardson of England are leading in the event.
Both Matloob and Shahid are all set to produce excellence in the remaining two rounds and earn a big name and lucrative prize money. The Championship is in progress at the 7016 yards Tower Links Golf Course which is set against the backdrop of the majestic Hajar Mountain and poses a challenging yet a fair test of golf for players aiming to consolidate their positions in the order of merit.
