Australian Army Chief Lt.Gen. David Morison and British Chief of General Staff Sir Peter Wall called on Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee General Khalid Shamim Wyne separately at Joint Staff Headquarters on Tuesday.
During the meeting war on terror, stability of the region especially situation of Afghanistan and South East Asia, enhancing the strategic cooperation and other important issues were discussed.
According to ISPR, General Wyne, during these meetings apprised the guests about the sacrifices tendered by Pakistan so far in the war against terrorism and said that Pakistan wants peace in the region.
Both the visiting dignitaries assured every kind of support to Pakistan by recognizing the sacrifices in the fight against terror.
