Dengue claims 6 more lives

With six more deaths on Monday, the death toll due to dengue in Lahore climbed to 137, and death toll for the province of Punjab rose to 150.
In Lahore, 35-year-old Farhat, a resident of leather market, Jawaria, aged 23, from Township, 14-year-old Arsalan, from Band Road, 42 year old Safdar from Shadbagh, and Rafaqat Bibi, from Bandar Road, died of the deadly virus.
Shakeela, from Sialkot, who was being treated in Sir Ganga Ram Hospital, also passed away.
In Multan, five more patients of dengue were admitted to Nishtar Hospital.
In Gujranwala, Mussrat Bibi, aged 45, was also reported dead, while three more patients were admitted to the District Hospital Gujranwala, taking the total number of reported cases in the city to 86.
In Dera Ghazi Khan, four patients were confirmed to have dengue virus, taking the total number of reported cases to 36. Six out of the 36 patients have died due to the deadly virus.
In Bahawalpur, Sialkot and Sargodha, 14, 3 and 9 patients of dengue were admitted.
