Colgate-Palmolive Pakistan, manufacturer of the leading toothpaste ‘Colgate’, held a press conference on Thursday to inaugurate Dental Health Month, a nationwide campaign providing free dental check-ups across 18 cities in Pakistan.
This activity is arranged in collaboration with Pakistan’s dental community, and leading dental institutions and clinics to raise awareness about oral health and hygiene. Free check-ups through mobile dental vans would also be conducted at schools of rural areas where access to dentists is limited, thus increasing awareness of oral health concerns to communities from all walks of life.
The programme also uses renowned and experienced dentists to bring Colgate’s vision of a ‘Zero Cavity Nation’ to life. This year, free check-ups would be offered from October 3 to 28 in the following cities: First week (October 3 to 7): Karachi, Faisalabad, Sargodha, Shahkot, Gujranwala and Gujrat. Second week (October 10 to 14): Karachi (clinics only), Hyderabad, Rawalpindi, Islamabad and Gujjar Khan. Third week (October 17 to 21): Sukkur, Larkana, Abbottabad, Mansehra, Multan and Sahiwal.
