Fraud victims demand action against OGDC Housing Society officials

Unable to find plots in the on-paper allocated area, the affected people demanded action against the Oil and Gas Development Corporation (OGDC) Employees Cooperative House Society (ECHS) officials on Thursday.
Around one thousand people from various walks of life had invested in purchasing various residential plots in the OGDC- ECHS and had submitted their dues during 2004-2006 in installments to acquire plots. However, the victims told Pakistan Today that they could not find their plots in the allocated areas and demanded refund of their money.
We were intimated by society officials in a meeting in 2009 that, “members who have been allotted plots in Block-E will be given plots or adjusted in other nearby places where the society has already purchased some land,” adding that “E-Block is currently finished,” they said. They said they had approached and submitted applications to the OGDC Housing Society (Regd. No 261, Islamabad) to re-locate their plots around five years ago for which they had already paid a huge amount in the open market.

  2. I am in Canada and have a plot in OGDCEHS. I have a plot number as well. Please tell me what is going on there?? OGDCEHS is involve in some fraud allotments or …….???? Please let me know so that I can follow up for my plot as well.

  4. this is not ogdcl society pl they have stated possession in the site pl come and deposit remaining amount and get plot AGM will be on site at 1130 on 7th march 2015.Pl attrend

      • The management of OGDC seem to be taking everyone for a free ride. All the websites of CDA have very clearly mentioned that OGDC coming in zone 4 is not authorized and no NOC. Better all get to file a case against the secretary before he runs away
