Awami Mahaz Convener Khawaja Aamer Raza urged upon the entire political leadership on Wednesday to unite at “the critical juncture of the country’s history” and said the whole nation stood behind their armed forces at “the hour of trial”.
In a press statement issued here, Raza said that all Pakistanis were proud of their brave armed forces and they saluted the glorious services rendered by them. While lauding the decisions of Corps Commander Conference, he said 180 million people would fight along with Pakistan Army to defend the nation’s sovereignty and guard the frontiers of our homeland.
He said calling an all parties conference was a right decision and politicians must shun their petty difference to pass a consensus resolution to tell the world that any unilateral action against Pakistan would get a tit-for-tat response. He also warned India that any adventure from the eastern border would meet a strong and matching response.
