Some unidentified armed men, riding a motorbike, gunned down a police constable here on Wednesday.
According to the police, the constable was on way back to his office from a local court when two persons on a motorbike opened fire on him.
The official was killed on the spot after being hit by a bullet in the chest, while attackers managed to escape.
Police has registered a case and started investigation.
