The Senate Standing Committee on Defence and Defence Production will meet today (Tuesday) at the parliament house. Parliamentary sources said the meeting was convened in a hurry, keeping in view the sensitivity of the matter. The parliamentary body will discuss the overall situation in the backdrop of Pak-US tension. Secretary defence will brief parliamentarians on the government’s position on current standoff with the US, the sources said.
