5 more die of dengue in Lahore

The death toll from dengue in Lahore reached 73 as five more patients died of dengue in Lahore.
According to details, 20-year-old Mudassar of Walton died of dengue fever at the General Hospital on the night between Thursday and Friday. He was the only brother of seven sisters. Heirs of Mudassar have alleged that he died of doctors’ negligence. His family members also staged a protest in front of the hospital and demanded action against doctors.
Meanwhile, 37-year-old Shaukat of Chungi Amar Sidhu also lost battle against dengue at the same hospital. The deceased was father of two.
Two patients died in Ganga Ram Hospital, Lahore.
Zahid 37 was a resident of Rajgarh and Mohammaed Saleem 55 was from Outfall Road. Nasreen Fatma, 30 resident of Upper Mall died due to dwindling count of platelets in Meo Hospital.
