Business delegation comprising of seventy businessmen from Pakistan on Tuesday left to attend 4th SAARC Business Leaders Conclave (SBLC) in Nepal on 20th-22nd September, 2011. The 4th SBLC with theme “Peace and Prosperity through Regional Connectivity” is organised by SAARC Chamber of Commerce and Industry in collaboration with Federation of Nepalese Chamber of Commerce and Industry, in partnership with Friedrich Naumann Stiftung and The World Bank as knowledge partner. Nepalese President Dr Ram Baran Yadav will inaugurate the 4th SBLC while former Sri-Lankan Prime Minister Ratnasiri Wickramanayaka would participate as Guest of Honour.
The Inaugural session will be followed by Ministerial session, session on Water, Energy and Climate Change and Food Security, Business Leaders Session, Women Leadership for Regional Business Opportunities, Trade and Investments in South Asia, Youth Development and Leadership, Connectivity through Tourism, Cultural Exchange and Media and Valedictory session and Adoption of Kathmandu Declaration. A delegation comprising of 70 businessmen from Pakistan, over 100 businessmen from Bangladesh and from SAARC member countries will attend the 4th SBLC.
