Officials on Tuesday claimed to have arrested 14 militants, including seven foreigners, during a search operation in Wocha Dana area of Wana, headquarters of South Waziristan Agency. The officials said the search operation was conducted after receiving a tip-off on the presence of militants and a large quantity of arms in the area. The seized arms and explosives were loaded in two trucks. The officials said that identity of arrested militants would be disclosed later. The arrested men have been shifted to safer places for interrogation.
