Karachi Police Chief Saud Mirza has formed an joint investigation team to probe the suicide attack in the DHA area of the city, a television channel reported.
The team will include officials from the CIA, SIU and CID.
Initially the JIT has taken into custody all the videos from secret cameras installed in and around the vicinity of residence of Ch Aslam.
According to media reports, initial investigations reveal that the attacker was 20 years old and was riding in a white coloured pick-up truck.
Eight people were killed in the attack which targeted the residence of SSP CID Chaudhry Aslam in DHA Phase 8. Several vehicles were destroyed and houses in residential area were damaged.
