FACES Pakistan starts work in Badin

The FACES Pakistan, a non-profit non-government organisation, has started relief and rescue work in different villages of the agro-industrial Badin district after unprecedented rains and floods caused widespread devastation in interior Sindh.
Quoting the district government summery, the FACES Pakistan said in its statement that over one million people have been affected by torrential rains in Badin, while 46 union councils and 6395 villages have been totally damaged in the district.
About 984,805 acres of land has also been affected, the recent government summery revealed. Like the past, the FACES Pakistan distributed relief goods in Moosa Turk, Mitho Hajam, Allah Bachaio, Abdul Qadir Sodho and Chak 20 villages of the Tarai union council, affected by the monsoon rains.
