In order to facilitate and attract the alliances, the federal government has decided to release developmental funds worth millions of rupees to the members of parliament and provincial assemblies of Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid(PML-Q).
Reliable sources said the federal government would release Rs 50 million for each member of National Assembly and Senate while Rs 30 million for each provincial legislators of PML-Q. Such actions would be taken to increase the vote bank of the party, they added. Sources further stated that PML-Q Chief Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain and Senior Minister Chaudhry Pervez Elahi in their last meeting with Prime Minister Yousaf Gilani requested him to release developmental funds in order to save the decreasing rate of vote bank.
Sources further stated that the party would release funds only for those constituencies where candidates have strong vote bank and they have chances of victories. The Chaudhry brothers issued directives all the legislators to complete the developmental schemes at the earliest.
