Former PML-Q leader Marvi Memon on Sunday strongly criticised the PPP-led coalition government for its failure to get a bill approved from Senate to counter incidents of acid throwing on women. Talking to reporters at Bolan Medical Complex Hospital, Marvi blamed all ruling parties, including the PML-Q and the PPP, for the prevailing situation in the country.
She added, “I am proud that I have no affiliation and link with any political actor who is plundering the resources of the country.”
Marvi said she would soon launch a constitutional and political movement against unqualified and incompetent rulers and the government.
To a question, she criticised the arrangements of the government for provision of early and immediate relief to the flood-affected people.
