Pakistan Meteorological Department has predicted more rains in the upper part of the country during the next few days.
According to Director Pak-Met Dr. Muhammad Hanif, upper parts of country including upper Punjab, upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) and Kashmir are likely to receive rain with lightening and thunder during the next 24-hours.
However, dry weather would persist in most of the irrigated areas during next three to four days.
During past 24 hour eastern Sindh, Gilgit-Baltistan (GB), Kashmir and its adjoining hilly areas received rains with thunder and lightening.
D.I. Khan remained hottest city during the last 24 hours with temperature of 37 degrees centigrade, while temperatures in Islamabad, Lahore, Muzaffarabad and Karachi were recorded at 33 degrees centigrade. Multan and Peshawar had temperatures of 34, while in Quetta it remained at 30 degees centigrade.
