Fumigation and anti-dengue spray campaign has been completed at the Benazir International Airport Islamabad to save passengers and the employees of different departments working there.
“We have completed the second fumigation drive at all the buildings of the airport,” Health Officer of the Airport, Dr Irfan told APP on Friday. He said that pamphlets and leaflets have also been issued to create awareness among the public for taking requisite preventive measures against the dengue mosquitoes.
Dr Irfan said that doctors and trained para-medical staff has been deployed which will remain available round the clock to help the patients. It may be mentioned here that administrations of twin cities of Rawalpindi and Islamabad have taken special measures to deal with the dengue epidemic. Both the administrations have set up special teams and wards to treat the patients suffering from dengue fever.
Man dead in road accident: A man lost his life in a car accident in the Kohsar police precinct. According to details, Babar was killed when a car hit him in sector E-11. Police has filed a case against the car driver Daniyal on the request of Muhammad Jaffir, the brother of the deceased and started the investigation.
