Tehreek Sooba Hazara leader Baba Haider Zaman has said that provincial government is using devious tactics to stop the peaceful movement for Hazara province.
Addressing a press conference at the National Press Club (NPC) on Thursday, he said that the provincial government with the help of Abbottabad administration was engaged in cunning practices to divide the people of Hazara on linguistic and ethnic basis, and the district co-ordination officer (DCO) of Hazara has been transferred by the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government in this wake to achieve their nefarious designs.
He said that the people of Hazara especially residents of Abbottabad would not forget the incident of April 12, 2010 where cruelty of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPK) government had taken away lives of seven people, left over two-hundred injured and three handicapped. He said that FIR of this incident has not been registered yet, which shows exercise of power of the provincial government on institutions of Hazara.
He also informed media that people of Hazara under the slogan of Tehreek Sooba Hazara would stage protest demonstration on the arrival of Chief Minister Ameer Haider Khan Hoti in Hazara. To a question, he said that the local administration has received special directives from provincial authorities for blind use of power to ruin the protesters during the visit of CM.
He said that the federal as well as the provincial government would be sole responsible if the incident of April 12 was repeated. He said that call of the protest call would be withdrawn if the FIR of April 12 incidents would be registered and the provincial assembly would pass the resolution about creation of the Hazara province.
