Former Federal Minister for Labor and Manpower and PML-Q leader, Ghulam Sarwar Khan on Wednesday has urged stakeholders to constitute a judicial commission to probe into the alleged involvement of political leaders in conspiracies against the country.
Addressing a press conference at National Press Club, he said that despite the restoration of the constitution and democracy, no one was ready to pay any heed to the allegations made by former senior minister Sindh about several leaders. “Although many of the allegations are against existing parliament members, no one is ready to call a parliament session on this serious issue,” he added. “It is the bad luck of the nation that the people who were elected by them are involved in conspiracies to break up the country,” he said.
The PML-Q leader said the opposition leader Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan had had a “wrong mindset” since 1985. He said Nisar always supported foreign forces while opposing the country. “Despite the fact that America is the biggest enemy of Islam, Nisar got its nationality by staging a drama,” he said. He alleged that Nisar was also not loyal to his own party leader and had played a crucial role in the arrest of Javed Hashmi.
“How can he act fairly towards the country, when he is against his own colleagues,” he asked. He said Nisar should inform the masses about his means of income because it was not possible to live as lavishly as he did without black money.
