  1. Dear Sirs , __It is with great interest that we follow the news regarding JANAKI DEVI JAMIAT SINGH HOSPITAL LAHORE , here in India. ____Infact this charitable Maternity hospital was founded by my grand father Dr. Jamiat Singh in the Memory of my grand mother Mrs. Janaki Devi ,who died in child birth and pleaded with my grandfather to start a charitable hospital for poor pregant women , which he did with a burning passion and love for his wife. We are extremely grateful to the authorities in Pakistan/YDA and the ETB , for supporting this institution and keeping alive the spirit of compassion and sacrifice , so dear to its founder Dr. Jamiat Singh. ____We have with us the history of the Hospital in old pictures and news paper articles from the mid 1930s so dear to us ,perhaps , will get a chance to share it with the administration of the Hospital and others concerened with it some day.____We would request the readers and others to keep us posted of the developments of this great institution , after all we are an intergal part of the Hospital and its history .____Thanking You __RAJNISH SINGH,__Grand Son of Late Dr. Jamiat Singh.
