Institute of Space Technology holds third open house

The Institute of Space Technology (IST) Islamabad organised Thursday its third “Open House”. The students of the Aerospace and Communication Systems Engineering impressed the visitors by displaying their ‘Senior Design Projects’, said a press release issued here.
A large number of people belonging to academia, prestigious R&D organisations and industry representatives visited the house. People praised the innovative and useful projects reflecting the research skills displayed by the students. “The guests mingled with the students and appreciated their creativity and the grip on their subjects that the students displayed while explaining their projects. A total of twenty one projects (Eleven projects of Aerospace and ten projects of Communication System Engineering) were displayed on the occasion,” the statement added.
Live online interviews were conducted by the King Fahd University of Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for Masters and PhD scholarships. IST Vice Chancellor Engineer Imran Rahman congratulated the students on their fine show and thanked the guests for gracing the event and encouraging the students.
