National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) Chairman Zafar Iqbal Qadir said on Sunday that around 64,000 livestock had been washed away by the flood waters in Sindh as almost 4 million acres of land had been swamped and cash crops on 2.5 million acres had been destroyed. Iqbal said the situation was deteriorating due to the consistent rains and the water level was rising due to an absence of drainage. He said 200 people including 46 women and 31 children had also died.
