‘Law and order situation in city satisfactory’

Foreign investments in various projects in Karachi manifest that the law and order situation in city is satisfactory, senior provincial Education Minister Pir Mazharul Haq said on Sunday. Talking to the media during visit to Mazar-e-Quaid on the occasion of the 63rd death anniversary of the founder of the country, he recalled that two large foreign companies had signed an agreement at the Sindh Chief Minister’s House on Saturday for investing in a project of the Steel Mills. It is worth mentioning here that Al-Tuwairqi Holding and POSCO signed an agreement for an investment of $15 million by POSCO in Tuwairqi Steel Mills Limited. Haq called upon the media to portray positive image of the country to show the world that Pakistan is a strong and stable country. He said that incidents of terrorism occur across the world but are controlled. Haq said the joint role of politicians, media and common citizens can also help improve the overall situation in the country.
