MQM’s lawyer Barrister Faroogh Nasim has said that the situation at Karachi got better after the start of proceedings of sue moto action taken by Chief Justice Supreme Court.
He was talking to the journalists outside Supreme Court Karachi Registry on Thursday. He said if some body has any proof , he may present it in the court as Supreme Court could not blame anyone but it can move forward in the light of evidences and investigation.
He said that MQM has zero tolerance policy for criminals as there is not any place of any wrongdoer in the rank and file of the party. “ I suggested during the proceedings that rangers should establish its check posts and install gates at Kati Pahari and Qasba Colony. I requested the court to take indiscriminate action against all the culprits. I also recommended that a High Court judge may be deputed to monitor the incidents occurred in the city.
He told the media that the during proceedings Supreme Court time and again pointed out lack of administrative capability in investigations. The court also said that water always flows from upwards to downwards. Responding a question he said that he told the court how law and order situation was deteriorated at Karachi.
