Pakistan’s top tennis star Aisamul Haq Qureshi will help in the rehabilitation of Pakistan Tennis Club Peshawar. The Pakistan Tennis Club Peshawar, which was founded by no less than the Founder of the country Quaid-i-Azam Mohammad Ali Jinnah himself, is in shabby condition. And Aisam, after knowing about the state of the club, became terribly upset about the fate of this extremely significant tennis club of the country from historical perspective.
Sources close to the tennis star said that he would like to see this club rehabilitated and fully operational once again and has offered to give his full support to KPK Tennis to make it happen. He has suggested that the KPK Tennis with the help of PTF may initiate a fund-raising campaign to generate necessary funds for the rehabilitation of Pakistan Tennis Club Shahi Bagh Peshawar and he will be pleased to join hands with KPK Tennis and PTF for achieving the desired target. “Let us all work together to rehabilitate this important national asset to which is associated the name of the father of the nation,” he maintained. Aisam has already worked for UNDP and also raised funds for flood affectedareas in Pakistan.
