The Pakistan baseball captain Ihsanullah left on Monday for South Korea for a two-month high-level coaching scholarship offered to him by LG Twins Baseball Club of South Korea.
Ihsanullah, a pitcher from Army was picked by the Twins Club president Do-Hyun Eddy Na, on the recommendation of a South Korean coach Hwang, who had been coaching the Pakistan team for the last couple of years.
“Mr Hwang who has helped Pakistan baseball for couple of years has recommended Ihsanullah as a player who has a great potential. We believe that he could take his game to a higher level under the right coaching staff. If he is interested to accept the offer we would like to invite him for the coaching to give him a chance to experience pro-level training at our facilities,” the club said.
Great news that Pakistan is getting to that level in games other than cricket, hockey and squash.
