10 killed, 4 injured in Balochistan unrest

Ten people were killed and four others were injured in separate incidents of firing, landmine explosions and rocket attacks in various areas of Balochistan during the past two days. Unidentified armed men gunned down Abdul Nabi and Abdul Ghaffar in Dasht area of Mastung district, some 25 kilometres from Quetta.
The assailants managed to escape from the scene after the incident. Levies force shifted the bodies to a nearby hospital for autopsy and later handed them to their heirs. A man was also killed in a landmine blast in Pahlawagh area of Dera Bugti. Levies officials said an explosion occurred after a person identified as Peerak stepped on a landmine which killed him and injured two others named Aslam and Murad.
The injured and dead were shifted to a nearby hospital. Two people were gunned down and two others sustained injuries in a clash between rival groups of Khaithran Baloch tribe. The dead were identified as Liaqat and Ismail. Another man was killed when unidentified men attacked him in Tump area of Kechh district. The attackers managed to escape after the incident. Another person who could not be identified was killed in Bela town of Lasbela district. Three people also lost their lives in a rocket attacks. Details showed that the dead were conducting inspection of a field when unidentified men fired three rockets in Barkhan area on Frontier Corps checkpost, two of which landed in an open area and exploded without causing any damage. However, the third rocket landed in a field and exploded when farmers were present nearby.
