FAISALABAD – Punjab Law Minister Rana Sana Ullah acknowledged the contribution of PML-N workers from PP-70 to the restoration of democracy and called them a valuable asset.
The minister said this during a visit to the under-construction project of General Hospital Samanabad. “I assure you that your sacrifices for the party will not go waste,” he said.
The occasion was attended by Superintending Engineer (SE) Ghazanfar Hussain, EDO (Health) Dr Rasheed Ahmed, Executive Engineer (Buildings) GA Farooq, District Officer (Roads) Ghulam Hussain, Director Engineering FDA Rashid Manzoor, Resident Engineer NESPAK Ahmed Saeed and a large number of PML-N workers.
The three-storey General Hospital is being constructed opposite to the Sports Complex that will have emergency services, cardiac ward, gynaecology, pediatrics, orthopedic department, general surgery unit, medical ward and diagnostic lab. The hospital will also provide the services of homoeopathic and Greek medicine experts.
“The project to provide medical facility at the doorsteps of the residents of PP-70 is a gift from Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif that will go a long way to provide the state-of-the-art medical and diagnostic facilities,” said Rana Sana Ullah.
Once the project gets operational, it will reduce the workload in other government hospitals such as Allied and DHQ hospitals. The Punjab law minister advised the project authorities to complete the hospital six months earlier than the scheduled completion date.
He also visited the under-construction project of Government Girls Degree College in PP-70 and advised the officials concerned to speed up the work.
