National Highway and Motorways Police (NHMP) N-5 Central Deputy Inspector General (DIG) Fateh Sher Joyia on Saturday said that the NHMP was strongly committed to preserve its image as a public-friendly, honest and dedicated force, which was developed after years of constant hard work.
During the rewards and certificates distribution ceremony at the Zonal offices of Lahore and Okara, the DIG congratulated the officers who got the annual cash reward and the class-I certificate for extending maximum help to distressed commuters, briefing road-users about road safety rules and maintaining traffic discipline.
Joyia also inaugurated a drivers’ training school in Okara named Road Safety Institution. He also bid farewell to Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Inksaar Khan who was expected to leave the department soon to join a four-year scholarship program in the US. The DIG also presented a souvenir to Inksaar in recognition of his services for the N-5 Central Zone.
