Local administration backed by Frontier Corps personnel raided former Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid (PML-Q)’s MNA Sardar Israr Tareen’s house in Loralai district on Saturday and recovered arms and ammunition. Deputy Commissioner (DC) Sohail Rehman said law enforcement agencies during the search seized 5 guns, 3 rocket launchers, 38 rocket shells, 28 detonators, 3 LMGs, 2 G III rifles, two 303 rifles and thousands of other live rounds. Rehman said four people including Tareen and former union nazim Adam Khan Tareen were arrested during the raid. Dozens of people blocked the Quetta-Dukki highway and torched tyres as they protested against the raid on their tribal elder’s house.
