Sheikh Zayed Hospital (SZH) Chairman Dr Zafar Iqbal on Thursday thanked the president, prime minister and cabinet secretary for promulgation of the Career Structure for Health Personnel (CSHP) Ordinance.
He said that the act of signing the ordinance on part of President Asif Ali Zardari was the longstanding demand of medical practitioners. Iqbal said that the pay raise would relieve health employees economically and improve their professional performance.
He thanked the print and
electronic media for highlighting the doctors’ concerns in front of higher authorities.
