Chairman of the Public Accounts Committee (PAC) Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan on Wednesday dissolved all the PAC’s special committees and sub-committees.
He said that the PAC could not be made to accommodate the government’s necessities and agenda.
A statement issued by Mr Khan said that no special or sub committees of the PAC could hold any meetings before a proper meeting of the PAC itself.
Moreover, Mr Khan said that the government had given the position of auditor general of Pakistan to a controversial figure which laid bare the government’s intentions.
Earlier on Tuesday, the government appointed Akhter Buland Rana as the auditor general of Pakistan for a four-year term.
The Pakistan Muslim League – Nawaz (PML-N) has opposed the appointment because it considers Mr Rana a controversial figure, saying that charges of irregularities are pending against him.
Mr Khan has some inbuilt problem, he always tries to create such trivial issues at the highest level which shows his commitment to the democratic system and democratic mindset, he is absolutely not a democratic minded person and also has no intellectual issue to live in media
After a year or so there are elections so this is part of the drama by PML-N to gain some sympathies. In fact they are out and will be replaced by Mr. Imran Khan's party in Punjab though majority seats will be bagged by both PPP & PML-Q.
Nisar is himself a very controversial man. He does not fulfil Constitutional requirements of being a pious man. He owns oil tanker business which he promoted to the hilt during his various tenures as Petroleum Minister. His psychology can be judged from the fact that he has never shown his true face. He does not have a single hair on his head and always wears a very hairy wig!!! His leaders also have obsession with growing hair on their bald heads.
We have woefully short memories.Younis Khan and Tanveer Ali Agha were made Auditors General in succession to provide cover to the financial scams of Musharraf, Zafarullah Jamali and Shaukat Aziz. Now they are potrayed as saints. Give the new AG a chance. As for Chaudhry Nisar can he explain the blatant interference that he exercises in the administrative affairs of Rawalpindi?
Chaudhary Nisar is the most honest and dedicated politician. People who are writing against him should be ashamed. He is the person who recovered more than 100 billion rupees during these 3 years. I think all above comments are came from the people who are with looters…..Pakistan can not grow with this mindset. above 4 comments are shameful.
Chaudhary Nisaar is the best MNA of Pakistan. Best leader of opposition. Most dedicated, honest and Pro-Pakistan. Mr. Shakeel Ahmad is 100% right. We love Chaudhary Nisaar and people should think 100 times before writing any thing against him. He is an MNA from last 25 years and even a single penny corruption is not associated with him. I think Public Accounts Committee did the superb job in last 3 years and Ch. Nisaar is one of the best person i ever saw in the history of Pakistani politicians. He recovered billions of rupees from Musharraf dogs and now he wants to recover billions of dollars from Zardari dogs, so all the people who are brothers of Zardari dogs are writing against him. All the dogs are barking because their life is going to be in trouble in coming days. We all Pakistanis should salute ch. Nisaar for his best efforts. We should not be with looters and we should not supports the corrupt dogs and we should not save those dogs who are involved in corruption. LOVE YOU CHAUDRY NISAAR ALI
