Rescue 15 introduces system to block unwanted calls

The Islamabad police helpline – Rescue 15 – has introduced “Computer Telephony system” to block prank or undesirable calls, avoid wastage of time on unnecessary calls, and ensure timely assistance to distressed people in case of an emergency. The formal inauguration of this system was made by Islamabad Inspector General of Police(IGP) Bani Amin Khan in a ceremony at Rescue 15, a press release said.
The IGP was also briefed about the salient features of the technology and its utilisation. Acting Senior Superintendent of Police Mir Vais Niaz, Superintendent of Police Ishaq Warraich, Assistant Superintendent of Police Shakir Ahmed Shahid, Time Zone Technology (TZT) Country Manager Hassan Mughal, Aabpara police Station House Officer Khalid Mehmud Awan and other police officials were also present on the occasion, the press release said.
Speaking on the occasion, the IGP said people made prank or useless calls which wasted the policemen’s time and disturbed them while performing their duties at Rescue 15. He said the purpose of launching this system had been to block such callers and reach the distressed people, who made genuine phone calls to Rescue 15, in time The system was launched in collaboration with TZT and TZT Country Manager Hassan Mughal briefed the IGP in detail about its functioning.
He also told the IGP that 74 numbers had been blocked after their repeated attempts at bogus phone calls to Rescue 15. The IGP also listened to various calls and was told that 2,926 calls were received in the last 24 hours, of which 1,843 calls were bogus.

    I know About that System who has introduced at Rescue 15 there is block means that who calls you blocked from your system it will just restrict ( Its means than call data mach there will just disconnect) pleace tray to action on buges caler that aghin missusing this facilitys. and all callers ownership of telephone numbers shuld view on system that opreator can esaly noot meantion that caller is wrong or truth
