Sindh Chief Minister Qaim Ali Shah directed law enforcement agencies on Friday to make foolproof security arrangements for August 22 (Ramazan 21), the martyrdom of Hazrat Ali (RA) throughout the province, especially in Karachi.
He gave these instructions during a meeting with high-ups of police and Rangers at the Chief Minister’s House.
He said that the arrangements should be made to ensure security at religious gatherings and processions to be held on the occasion. Shah said that those law enforcement agencies’ personnel, found negligent in their duties, would have to face strict action.
