2 salesmen killed, Rs 5m robbed in Pindi

At least four unidentified armed robbers on Friday shot dead two salesmen of a money exchange shop at Raja Bazaar while injured four others and decamped with Rs 5 million. The robbers looted Rs 5 million from Shabbir Traders, a money exchange shop, after killing two salesmen. According to the trade union office bearers and other eyewitnesses, four robbers carrying automatic weapons arrived at Shabbir Traders at Raja Bazaar on two motorcycles in broad daylight and opened fire, killing two salesmen and injuring four others.
The injured were shifted to the district headquarters hospital (DHQ) for medical treatment, where doctors pronounced two of them dead. The deceased were identified as Nadeem and Javed while Waqar, Asad, Asif and an unknown person were among the injured. Rawal Town SP Malik Matloob Ahmed Awan and the SHO Ganjmandi rushed to the crime scene along a police contingent and cordoned off the area.
