Mahajar Qaumi Movement formally calls its quits

Mahajar Qaumi Movement Secretary General Nadeem-ul-Islam has formally announced the termination of party, which would henceforth revert to folds of its parent MQM (Muttihida).
Addressing a press conference at Karachi Press Club on Monday along with Irfan Engineer, Asif Lodhi and others, he hoped that MQM chief Altaf Hussain and kin of all killed opponents /citizens would spare all past transgressions of/ due to the dissident group.
Announcing the end of Mahajar Qaumi Movement chapter whose 85% of administrative structure had been eroded, Nadeem -ul-Islam announced that after 30 years of service to Afaq Ahmad, who kept his members on a perpetual war footing under the pretext of ‘Mahajar struggle’, which resulted in killings of hundreds from warring factions of MQM, he was calling it quits.
Announcing an end to politics of weapons, he expressed his deepest regrets and apologies for his past wrong and discriminatory decisions.
He also requested MQM chief Altaf Hussain to forego all past enmities, and since he and his associates were repentant, they should be allowed to join MQM.
Nadeem-ul-Islam also issued a general appeal to all Mahajar Qaumi Movement activists to follow his footprints.
The head of Mahajar Qaumi Movement, Afaq Ahmad had recently disclosed in an interview to a private TV channel that he was constantly in touch with MQM leadership and would soon join the parent group.
