At least three more persons were killed and five, including two women, injured in ongoing violence here in the city, police said.
According to the details, some unknown armed miscreants opened heavy fire on a bus near Essa Nagri, leaving two passengers seriously injured, while another person also sustained bullet injuries due to some miscreants firing in Purana Haji Camp area.
In a separate incident, one person, Ahmad Waqas, was shot dead and two women, Mehvish and Nadia, were shot injured when they tried to resist during an armed robbery at their home in Block-D of North Nazimabad.
Police have recovered two persons’ sack-packed dead bodies from a garbage dump near UBL Sports Complex in Federal B Area.
According to police, both persons were severely tortured before killing and their identities are not known yet.
Police have registered cases of the incidents and started investigations.
