Trains continued to arrive late at the Lahore Railway Station on Friday as delays of 4 to 14 hours were seen and passengers were left frustrated and helpless. According to details, all trains coming to Lahore form Karachi and Quetta were late and passengers started to shift to other means of transport as uncertainty surrounded them. Many passengers were seen refunding their tickets as trains schedule was badly disturbed.
Awami Express, coming from Karachi, got delayed for 14 hours and reached Lahore at 9:30pm. Quetta Express and Jaffar Express, both coming from Quetta, also reached Lahore after getting delayed for six hours. The Karakoram Express, Allama Iqbal Express, Night Coach and Taizgam reached Lahore from Kararchi after delays of five, eight, six and three and a half hours respectively. Multan-bound Musa Pak failed to depart from Lahore.
