Advocate Muhammad Aslam Buriro was brutally murdered in broad daylight in Dharki city, Ghotki district, while on his way to home from the courts on Wednesday. His gruesome murder has grieved all and sundry. The police is reported to have launched a manhunt for the killers.
Mr Buriro was a successful advocate and a nice human being. He was very industrious, insightful and widely respected person. However, the Sindh Bar Council and Sindh Bar Association which observed complete strike in the province on Thursday and have demanded the arrest of the two motorcyclist assailants.
Similarly, the writers, intellectuals and social activists have also strongly condemned the killing of the advocate and they have appealed to the Chief Justice of Pakistan to take suo moto notice.
