Pakistan Railways fails to control trains’ delays despite massive funding

Despite massive funding of cash by the federal government, Pakistan Railways has failed to control long delays of trains, which are arriving and departing several hours later than their scheduled times.
According to latest reports, Khushahal Khan Khattak Express took 9 extra hours to reach at Karachi’s Cantt Station from Peshawar. Its scheduled time was 2.00AM but it arrived at 11.00AM on Wednesday.
It has been announced that Allam Iqbal Express will also take 9 extra hours to reach Karachi from Sialkot. Bolan Express from Quetta is also delayed for five hours. Pakistan Express from Lahore was also late for five hours.
All other trains including Karakurum Express, Millat Express, Fareed Express, Tezgam Express and Karachi Express are also late.

  1. What Mr saad Rafique is doing to ovecome yhis. Today 07-07-13 Karachi Express is still no arrived from Lahore to Karachi its 10.30pm where as the shedule time was 11am in the morning.

    Similarly Qaraqarem departed at 8.30pm instead of 4pm.
    What mental and physical torture we are suffering? can you imagine. THe fare is huge but no service is being provided. What is this rubish…………
