The fourth Inter-Schools and Inter-Colleges Games will be held from November 1 to 5 at Lahore. All the schools and colleges of the city will be participating in male and female events. The Punjab Olympic Association (PbOA) will organise the event. “The activity is being carried out with a view to reviving sports in Inter-schools and Inter-colleges and promoting games from grass root level”, PbOA official said. “All the schools and colleges of the city have already been informed in writing. Various schools and colleges of boys and girls have confirmed participation but the confirmation from most of the institutions are still awaited”, PbOA Secretary Idris Haider Khawaja said.He also said that the principals and headmasters who had still to confirm their participation had been asked to step forward and confirm participation and intimate the names of sports disciplines in which they would like to take part as soon as possible.
