Jamaat-e-Islami chief Syed Munawar Hasan has said the government is “the mother of all crises” and it cannot solve any of them. Talking to different delegations here at Mansoora, Munawar said the rulers were not serious in solving problems being faced by the country, said a press statement issued here on Monday.
“The only thing they are serious in is loot and plunder of national resources and patronage of their kith and kin”, he added. The JI chief said the worst type of dictatorship was ruling the country under the guise of democracy and certain parties and groups within the government were trying to achieve selfish ends by blackmailing the PPP. Munawar said even the Supreme Court orders were being flouted to protect certain individuals.
