32 more trains decided to be shut down

The government decided to shut down the services of 32 trains on temporary basis as Pakistan Railway’s crisis further intensified.
The Railways crisis has deepened further and various trains traveling from Quetta, Peshawar and Karachi to Lahore were delayed by two to 11 hours while few trains eparture was cancelled due to unavailability of locomotives.
Services of only two trains were taken in a week because of the shortage of engines.
According to Railway Administration, the Khushhal Express used to reach at 5: 45am in the evening in expected to reach at 2:30pm, likewise Khyber Mail is expected to reach at 2pm instead of 8:45am to Peshawar, and Awami Express would reach 8pm instead of 6pm in the evening.
All the trains traveling to Peshawar are delayed by hours while Quetta Express which travels from Peshawar to Quetta has been cancelled and it is set to stay in Rawalpindi.
Delayed trains comprise Khyber Mail, Awami Express and Khushhal Express and passengers suffered due to delay in departure and arrival of trains. Shutting down of the train services segregated dozens of railway stations.
Pakistan Railway crisis has been posing great problems to the travelers for so long. Shutting down of the railway services have turned the stations into playgrounds where children play cricket whereas railway staff passes time by sitting in vain. People are demanding for the motorway instead of the railway tracks.
Finance Department is facing unbearable losses due to the closing down of the railway services. Contractors, staff and laborers on daily wages are facing extreme troubles in the above mentioned problems.
